Meeting Notes

Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to attend our Spring (Winter) meeting, "8tung! 10 Neue Techno Ideen für das Klassenzimmer" at Cary Academy on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 8:45-4:00, hosted by Wendy Burgbacher. Many NC-AATG colleagues will be offering information and strategies in 20-minute presentations for teaching with technology at the K-12 and college/university levels. The conference is made possible by the generous support of AATG.

We hope the topic of the conference will be of interest to many of you. All AATG members and prospective members are welcome to attend. The conference also provides an excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues of all levels, to learn about new, innovative ideas, to revisit how we can sustain and strengthen German programs across the state, and participate in organizational decisions that will impact our chapter. During the business meeting we will receive important information on German Day (UNC-G, Wednesday, March 6, 2013), vote on the German Day T-shirt Design, vote on amendments to our constitution, and learn who the NC-AATG awards nominees for 2013 are. It is also a great way to earn CEUs and, for non-members, to meet with fellow professionals and weigh the benefits of membership. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Please plan to attend!

To register for the conference, please fill out the registration form, and return the form along with a check (made out to NC-AATG ) to Beth Gulewich postmarked by Monday, January 14 to 1225 Brooks Ave., Raleigh NC 27607. Registration is due no later than Wednesday, January 16.  Contact me by email if necessary.

Download the registration form here.

Conference fees are $15 for members or $20 for non-members. Full-time students and teachers in their first or second year of service may attend at half price ($10)!
