Lodgings

If you need lodging for Friday night, Sept. 12, we've worked out two options:

OPTION 1: Greensboro Microtel Inn
OPTION 2: Homestays in Winston-Salem or Greensboro

OPTION 1: Greensboro Microtel Inn

4304 Big Tree Way (right off Wendover Ave.), Exit #214 of I-40

$40.00 room with one queen bed (up to two people)
$45.00 room with two queen beds (two to four people)
All rates include a continental breakfast; there is free parking.
The hotel is ca. 10 miles from UNC-G, but it's an easy drive.

If you want a single room OR already have a roommate, call the Microtel directly (1-336-547-7007, not the toll-free number) to make your reservation. Be sure to mention the AATG block and the special rates we've been quoted. You'll need to call them with a credit card to guarantee your reservation by 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8.

If you want to be paired with a roommate to cut your costs in half (!), we'll match you up! Print and send this page to Beverly Moser when you register for the conference OR e-mail the info below to moserba@appstate.edu. Be sure to include your e-mail address and phone number, and reply to Moser by Sept. 5 (also our AATG registration deadline) . We'll match you up with a roommate and ask one of you to guarantee your room reservation, again by 6 p.m. on Fri, Sept. 8.

I want to SHARE A ROOM at the MICROTEL. Please hook me up with someone nice:

If you need a roommate, return this form by snail mail (or send the same info by e-mail) to Beverly Moser, Dept. of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Box 32063, Appalachian State University, Boone, NC 28607. Problems? Contact moserba@appstate.edu; 828-262-2303.

OPTION 2: Homestay with GSO/W-Salem Teacher

A couple of teachers in the GSO/W-S area have graciously agreed to host participants. To stay with a colleague, please contact the individuals directly. We will do our best to keep this list updated on a daily basis. If you would like to volunteer as a host (please do!), contact Burkhard Henke at buhenke@davidson.edu.
